Accommodations

Cinco Rios Lodge can accommodate up to 12 anglers in six spacious rooms. Each room features two king-sized beds, a spacious private bathroom, seating area and an outdoor deck overlooking the Rio Simpson and plenty of space to store waders, rods, boots, and other gear. The lodge has a magnificent great room with comfortable couches, a beautiful rock fireplace, and expansive windows overlooking the valley; large family-style dining room and bar room complete with revolving beers on tap; upstairs lounge with satellite TV and small fly shop; and a well equip conference room.

Fly Fishing Program

Cinco Rios Lodge has access to miles of private rivers and streams throughout the region, with many only fished by our guests, a variety of public waters that include the Simpson, Paloma, Mañihuales and Aysen Rivers. Several lakes and lake inlets are also available, most notably the Azul, Desierto, Elizalde, Castor, Frio, and Pollux. Smaller creeks include the Guillermo, De Leon, Megote, and other unnamed gems. Over the course of a week fishing at Cinco Rios, anglers typically fish two days via a jet-boat on the Azul and Paloma, two days float-fishing on the Simpson or Mañihuales, and two days walking-and-wading small creeks or rivers.

Food & Wine

With a menu featuring the best local ingredients, the meals at Cinco Rios Lodge often include beef from our sister lodge, Estancia del Zorro. The chef and staff use fresh herbs from the lodge’s own garden, source wild morels from Estancia del Zorro, and serve fish fresh from the nearby Pacific Ocean. Anglers will enjoy Chilean lamb with fresh morel risotto; teriyaki steak saute; pepper chicken with hand-milled gnocchi; and a variety of baked quiches and fish dishes. To round out our dining experience we feature a variety of Chilean wines to pair with our wonderful meals.
