MEET OUR TEAM

We are Patagonia

At Cinco Rios Lodge and Estancia del Zorro, our combination of local know-how and a commitment to work hard for our guests merge perfectly to build one of the best fly fishing experiences in Chilean Patagonia.

We have been in operation since 2002 and most of the guides have been with us for over a dozen years. With their knowledge of our local waters, years of experience, and enthusiasm for the incredible diversity of our fishing program, we feel they are the among best guides anywhere on the water in Chile.

Cinco Rios Lodge and Estancia Del Zorro are owned and operated through a partnership with Sebastian Galilea and Greg Vincent. Galilea is a third-generation Patagonian with extensive local knowledge and deep family connections throughout the region. Vincent is a Welsh-born expat with more than 30 years of lodge ownership experience and international salt and freshwater guiding experience at some of the world’s premier fly fishing destinations.

Galilea and Vincent look forward to sharing their beautiful, diverse fishery with their guests, but they know the success of the two lodges has not been built solely on the fishing, as good as it is! They know the importance of an outstanding crew of lodge staff and chefs. At Cinco Rios Lodge and Estancia del Zorro, the guides and staff know the difference between an overage trip and an exceptional one is usually due to the dedication of the entire team.

At Cinco Rios and Estancia del Zorro our guests will find attentive staff, innovative chefs, and talented and professional guides who are excellent oarsmen with the skills to fish with experienced anglers and the patience to teach anglers interested in learning every aspect of the fly fishing experience. Most importantly, all of the guides, owners and staff share a deep love for the history, culture and beautiful landscape of this region and all of this helps make the visit and angling at Cinco Rios Lodge and Estancia del Zorro the Best of Patagonia!
